The Wind Doesn’t Know Its Way Back Plot:

Su Wan, a cultural relic restorer, returns to a Jiangnan ancient town with an old wind lamp left by her grandmother, where she meets Lin Shen, the "cold-faced boss" of an old homestay. A half-old photo hidden in the lamp ties them together—Lin Shen claims it’s the "Wind Granny" who saved him as a child, while Su Wan recognizes her grandmother’s handwriting on the photo’s back. As the lamp is restored, her grandmother’s past of helping homeless kids find families comes to light. Lin Shen’s long-sealed心结 and Su Wan’s lost sense of belonging from workplace trauma gradually find answers in the town’s wind: the warmest home is never a fixed place, but the someone you can "wait for the wind" with.
