Displaced Moonlight

Displaced Moonlight Plot:

Lin Xiaoman, a night shift clerk at a convenience store, watches Chen Mo, an architect in the opposite office building, every night—he always draws blueprints under the moonlight, his pen tip brushing the osmanthus candy wrappers she secretly leaves at the store entrance. Chen Mo firmly believes those scented candies are from the “girl in the white dress” who often buys coffee. Until a rainy night, Xiaoman helps him collect design papers on his balcony and is shocked to see the girl in the drawings: herself three years ago, with a high ponytail, crouching on the playground to pick up a notebook. It turns out the “moonlight girl” he’s drawn a thousand times is exactly Xiaoman, who’s been watching him from downstairs every day. Her three-year crush has long been painted into the moonlight by his pen. When their misplaced gazes finally meet, they realize: the moon never fails to shine on anyone—it just takes a little detour for the light to land on the one who makes your heart beat.
