In the Depths of Years Plot:

Lin Xiaoman, a cultural relic restorer, receives an old wooden box carved with "Ashen". When they reunite under the old locust tree, Ashen tremblingly pulls out the half-marriage certificate he’s kept all his life—it fits perfectly with A Ruan’s half. As Xiaoman helps the two elders untangle their past, she also grows close to Gu Chuan, Ashen’s grandson and the doctor who assists her.
