The Long Road to Initial Aspiration Plot:

Lin Xiaoman, a planner at an advertising company, has numbly endured 996 work for five years—until her father sends her old college DV, which holds the footage she shot at a mountain primary school: "The Children’s Starry Sky". On the same day, Chen Mo, her former documentary partner, suddenly shows up, saying the left-behind child they followed back then is about to take the college entrance exam, but his filming project has stalled due to funding shortages.
