Twenty Years of Plotting: His Return to Settle Scores
Twenty Years of Plotting: His Return to Settle Scores Plot:
Twenty years ago, the Lin couple in Qingzhu Village were murdered for trying to expose an illegal mining scandal. Their 12-year-old son Lin Shen survived by hiding in a rice vat but was framed as the killer and forced to flee. Now, he returns as a returnee financial expert, armed with the original mining accident records (once tampered with), the killer’s fingerprints, and the testimony of Su Xiao—a nurse who witnessed the real murderer (once a little beggar saved by the Lins). He is determined to bring justice to Village Party Secretary Zhou Fugui, the village doctor who forged the cause of death, and the accountant who falsified accounts. But as he nears the truth, he discovers Zhou Fugui’s adopted son is his missing younger brother—abducted by Zhou back then. Caught between revenge for justice and blood ties, how will Lin Shen finish this twenty-year-overdue reckoning?
