It’s Not My Fault—The Young Marshal Insisted on Shielding Me
It’s Not My Fault—The Young Marshal Insisted on Shielding Me Plot:
Su Xiaoman, a medical apprentice, breaks into the Young Marshal’s mansion accidentally to save a critically injured patient, only to witness an assassination attempt on Gu Yanting! At the crucial moment, Gu leaps in front of her, taking a fatal knife strike. His shoulder soaked in blood, she panics and waves her hands: ‘I just came to deliver medicine—it’s not my fault!’ Since then, the Young Marshal has stuck to her like glue: he handles the hooligans in her clinic, blocks hidden arrows for her on the street, and even slams the table to defy his warlord father for her. While Su secretly brews blood-nourishing soup for him, she insists, ‘Stop following me.’ But when the assassin’s knife presses against her throat again, Gu smiles and pulls her into his arms: ‘This time it’s my turn, because ten years ago, you gave a starving little young master a steamed bun.’ It turns out his ‘insistence on shielding her’ was never a coincidence, but a ten-year-old promise of ‘wanting to protect you.’
