Home Is Where the Moon Returns Plot:

Su Wan, a top cultural tourism planner in Beijing, is tasked with demolishing the old alley in Xizha, Wuzhen—her hometown—to build a cultural and creative park. But at the alley entrance, she meets Gu Zhao, who has guarded an old bookstore for ten years—the boy who once buried a "moon bottle" with her under the osmanthus tree as kids. Gu Zhao takes out the moon bottle sealed with her grandmother's last words: "Wanwan's home should be where there's the moon." As the demolition machines roll in, Su Wan looks at the moon graffiti they drew on the wall and suddenly realizes: what she's about to tear down isn't just an old alley, but the "home" she lost twenty years ago.
