The Moon Above the Clouds
The Moon Above the Clouds Plot:
Divorced mom Lin Wanwan grits her teeth to take over a community restaurant to save tuition for her daughter Xiaoyue, but it’s on the verge of closing due to few customers and doubled rent. Unexpectedly, Xiaoyue secretly puts the business card of Gu Jingshen—the CEO who often comes for plain noodles—into her schoolbag, along with a scribbled “marriage proposal letter”: “Uncle, marry my mom! Her noodles are 100 times better than hotel food!” Gu Jingshen seizes the chance to propose a “3-month trial marriage”: he helps her keep the restaurant, and she helps him deal with his grandma’s “great-grandchild” pressure. Two parallel lives draw closer thanks to the little girl’s “matchmaking chaos”. Yet Gu Jingshen’s “rich heir” status, Lin Wanwan’s “divorced mom” label, and the 5-year-old secret of “the girl who saved him in the rain” become barriers. When “acting” turns into “wanting to make you breakfast every day”, can they break through the identity gap and catch the “moon above the clouds”—the warm light that belongs to them?
