Dragon Across the River Plot:

Chen Long, a boatman from a riverside fishing village, crosses the river alone to the glitzy financial city in search of his missing sister. He accidentally saves Lin Wan, the icy CEO of a wealthy conglomerate, but is mocked by the company’s staff as a “rustic fishmonger.” However, when Lin Wan falls into a commercial fraud crisis, Chen Long uses his fishing village skill of “judging fish bladders” to expose the “hollow clauses” in the contract. To his shock, he uncovers a link between his sister’s disappearance and the conglomerate’s top executives’ “reclamation project”—behind the brightly lit financial skyscraper lies the livelihoods and secrets of ordinary people. Will this “dragon” tear down the dirty “crystal palace,” or be battered by the tide of capital?
