The Lament of Eternal Regret Plot:

Lin Xia, a modern cultural relic restorer, accidentally takes on the task of restoring a Tang Dynasty fragmented manuscript *The Lament of Eternal Regret*. During restoration, she finds a half-piece of jade pendant inside and frequently dreams of being Li Zhaoyi, a princess of the prosperous Tang Dynasty, who fell in love with Shen Yan, a godlike general, but was separated by the An Lushan Rebellion—Shen Yan died protecting her, leaving half the manuscript unfinished.
