She meets Ye Haoran, a CEO being pressured into marriage by his grandmother—who offers her a deal: pretend to be his fiancée for three months, with the reward exactly covering the surgery cost. They sign a "lie contract" and start acting like a loving couple, but gradually develop real feelings: Ye secretly takes care of her mother, while Meng stays up late making hot porridge for his overtime nights. But when the grandmother pushes for a real wedding, when her mother's surgery succeeds, and when the lie's deadline approaches, both are afraid to reveal the truth first—can a relationship born from a lie really lead to a happy ending?
