Lin Chuan, the "Sister Protector" who vanished for three years, suddenly reappears. He took the blame and went to prison to protect his sister Lin Xiaotang from school bullying. Now he finds Xiaotang suffers from social anxiety after witnessing his arrest—and she’s being targeted by a local gang. Lin crushes all threats with his "ruthlessness": the former bully, now a real estate boss, has his contract torn up in his office; gangsters surrounding Xiaotang flee in terror from his baseball bat. Meanwhile, he secretly approaches Xiaotang: leaving her favorite sugar-hearted eggs at the convenience store where she works, watching her from the corner but daring not to speak. When the gang kidnaps Xiaotang to lure him, Lin arrives with a note Xiaotang wrote years ago: "Brother, I’m not afraid." But Xiaotang rushes out with pepper spray: "It’s my turn to protect you!"
