Thousands of Miles Without Tung Blossoms Plot:

Lin Xiaoman embarks on a journey to find her childhood "Tung Blossom Ferry" after receiving a tung blossom-embroidered handkerchief from her dying grandmother—that's where she buried a wish bottle with a boy from the neighboring village at seven. But now a national highway cuts through the village, and the tung blossom tree has long been reduced to a stump. On the way, she meets Chen Mo, a man with an old camera, who offers to help but always zones out at tung blossom patterns. It's not until they find the wish bottle in an abandoned station that Xiaoman realizes Chen Mo is the boy who once said, "I'll accompany you to see tung blossoms across thousands of miles." He moved away due to a serious illness back then, too afraid to say goodbye, and now he's back to fulfill their promise of "walking to the end of the tung blossoms together."
