The Wife's Divorce Trap Plot:

After five years of marriage, Chen Mo has changed from a “wife-controlled” startup guy to a cold CEO. He not only has an affair with his secretary but also secretly transfers their joint property. His wife Su Wan, however, suddenly proposes divorce, even arranging for Chen Mo to “catch” her in a “close date” with a stranger and voluntarily giving up all her property to leave the marriage penniless. Chen Mo thinks he’s won the “divorce battle” until his lawyer hands him the evidence Su Wan collected of his asset transfer—all her “infidelity” was fake. She set the trap just to see if her husband would ever turn back. When Chen Mo finds Su Wan, she’s holding the signed divorce papers, her eyes void of hope: “I gave you a chance, but you pushed our marriage off the cliff.”
