Half-Sweet Green Plum Plot:

Lin Xiaoman has guarded the "Half-Sweet Café" at the old alley for ten years, keeping her childhood memory with her neighbor brother Gu Yan alive through the half-sugar green plum cake passed down from her grandma—back then, Gu Yan squatted by her stall to chase away kids who stole cakes and wrote her a note: "I’ll guard the café with you forever." But now, Gu Yan returns from abroad as a real estate CEO determined to demolish the old alley—including her café. Xiaoman, eyes red, pulls out the old note, only to be told by Gu Yan with a cold face: "Childish words don’t count." On the night before the café is to be torn down, Xiaoman finds a crate of fresh green plums in the warehouse, along with Gu Yan’s diary hidden in a cake box: "I didn’t come back to demolish—it’s to buy the old alley and turn it back into our childhood."
