Xing'an Ridge: The Face-Bear Village Attack
Xing'an Ridge: The Face-Bear Village Attack Plot:
Veterinarian Lin Xiaoman returns to her hometown after her grandmother's death, only to encounter the resurgence of the 'face-bear'—a decade-old legend in Xing'an Ridge, said to be the 'avenging beast' that killed her mother. Old hunter Uncle Zhou warns her repeatedly, 'The bear holds grudges—stay and you'll die,' but she is determined to uncover the truth about her mother's death. During a night stakeout in the woods, the 'face-bear' drops a silver bracelet—her mother's keepsake. Further investigation reveals the village head's son hiding a bloodstained bear pelt prop. Just as she thinks she's solved the 'human-in-bear-mask' scam, the real 'face-bear' looms behind her—its silhouette is exactly that of her father, who 'disappeared' ten years ago! When family ties clash with truth and superstition battles science, what lies beneath the 'face-bear' mask is far more terrifying than any beast: human scheming.
