Gu Cang, the Mystic Sect ancestor framed and trapped in the void a century ago, returns by possessing his reincarnated clansman Gu Xiaotang. Now, the Gu family has fallen from the top of the Mystic Sect to a marginal clan—plotted against by distant branches for the ancestral hall, and even the younger generation is haunted by evil spirits at school.
