Farewell Is the Prologue Plot:

After her grandma's death, Lin Xiaoman was sorting out her relics when she accidentally found a diary her grandma had kept for half a century—in which she wrote about breaking up with her lover Chen Mo due to a misunderstanding, and never having the courage to say, 'I never blamed you.' To fulfill her grandma's regret, Xiaoman set out to find Chen Mo, only to meet Chen Shi, who was also helping his grandpa find his old lover.
