Lin Wan, a professional, returns to her hometown to save the nearly bankrupt intangible cultural heritage fireworks factory by organizing a fireworks festival. There, she unexpectedly runs into Chen Mo—her first love who stood her up on a fireworks night ten years ago and then vanished.
