The Late Spring

The Late Spring Plot:

In the small Jiangnan town, Lin Xiaoman has guarded her mother's "Spring Bookstore" for three years—three years ago, her lover Gu Shen suddenly left without a word, and she hid her unsaid "I'll wait for you" in every worn-out poetry collection. Until an osmanthus-scented evening, Gu Shen burst into the store holding a yellowed copy of "Spring Poetry Notes": in his hand were her mother's last words and fifty unsent letters he wrote and tore over three years. It turns out that he went to retrieve her mother's manuscript, fell off a cliff in a mountain rainstorm, and lost his memory. When he finally remembered everything, he was afraid she had already moved on. As the late truth shatters their misunderstanding, they look at the newly sprouted willow outside the window—how can they turn "too late" into "still in time"?
