Back to the Turbulent 1982 Plot:

Lin Xiaoman, a modern overworked office worker, accidentally travels back to 1982 via her grandfather's old account book to the state-owned Hongguang Textile Factory——the place where her grandfather spent his entire life and the 'unfinished business' he murmured about on his deathbed. At this moment, the factory is on the verge of insolvency, and her grandfather is called an 'old fossil hindering reform' for refusing to sell the equipment cheaply to a private boss. Armed with 30 years of future business insights, Xiaoman is determined to help her grandfather save the factory, only to run into Zhou Huai, the 'rebellious' technician of the time——the future business tycoon who is now being severely scolded by her grandfather for wanting to introduce new machines. They go from sabotaging each other to joining forces to raise funds and transform the production line, but just as Xiaoman thinks everything is going smoothly, she finds a note her grandfather hid at the end of the account book: 'Don't save me, save the workers who are about to be laid off'...
