Proving Innocence Behind Bars: My Jail Term as a Weapon for Justice
Proving Innocence Behind Bars: My Jail Term as a Weapon for Justice Plot:
Lin Wan, the wife of a multinational group’s CEO, was framed for her husband’s离奇 death—surveillance footage, murder weapon, and witnesses all pointed to her, even her lawyer advised her to plead guilty for a lighter sentence. Desperate, she discovered the key accomplice of the real killer was in detention: the only person who knew “a mysterious figure tampered with the surveillance on the night of her husband’s death.” So she voluntarily gave up her defense and went to prison. Inside, she dealt with prison bullies while using a micro-recorder hidden in her glasses to extract testimony from the accomplice. On the day of the retrial, she brought 27 audio recordings collected in prison to court, turning the tables and accusing her husband’s cousin (who hired a killer for the family fortune) as the real culprit. Everyone realized: she didn’t plead guilty—she turned prison into an “evidence warehouse,” using the most extreme self-incarceration to tear apart the “legal frame-up” manipulated by capital.
