Back to the 1980s: The Lazy, Pretty, Chubby Wife's Counterattack
Back to the 1980s: The Lazy, Pretty, Chubby Wife's Counterattack Plot:
Modern office worker Lin Xiaoman died from overworking, only to wake up as the "lazy, pretty, chubby wife" in Kaoshan Tun, 1985—she had movie-star looks but was obese, slept until noon daily, let her mother-in-law's porridge go cold, and made her primary school teacher husband Chen Mo lose his mending needles, becoming the village's most gossiped-about "troublemaker" for the Chen family. Unexpectedly, she bound a "Counterattack Chubby Wife System"! Her first task: "Make a hot meal in 30 minutes." Clumsy, she used modern nutrition knowledge to cook tomato and egg noodles—surprising her mother-in-law who exclaimed, "Better than the town canteen!" Chen Mo stared at her flour-stained face, ears blushing: "Tomorrow... I'll help with the fire?" Since then, Lin Xiaoman started her "forced counterattack": she lost weight quietly with system slimming pills, made a fortune selling braised meat using modern marketing, helped Chen Mo design "fun tutoring" that went viral in town, and even exposed Widow Wang's rumors with system props. From a hated "lazy chubby wife" to the village's envied "entrepreneurial goddess", she not only slimmed into a beauty in a blouse but also turned the reserved Chen Mo into a "wife-controlled husband". At night, Chen Mo hugged her waist and said: "Xiaoman, you're my blessing." A sweet, laugh-filled counterattack with the warm nostalgia of the 1980s and the most healing love!
