Returning After 70 Years Missing, I Became the Great-Grandpa
Returning After 70 Years Missing, I Became the Great-Grandpa Plot:
In 1945, anti-Japanese soldier Lin Yuanshan fell off a cliff during a mission and was accidentally cryogenically frozen. Waking up in 2025 with his military medal and his wife's embroidered handkerchief, he trekked thousands of miles to find his family—only to be called 'the great-grandpa no one has ever seen' by his great-grandson Lin Xiaochuan. The family was preparing a 100th birthday banquet for Lin Xiaochuan's grandfather, and no one believed this '50-year-old-looking man' had been missing for 70 years. Until he pulled out his wedding photo, an old silver bracelet engraved with 'Yuanshan', and a yellowed family letter—then the truth hit them. Facing smartphones, elevators, and the 'live-streamed birthday banquet' of modern life, Lin Yuanshan was both clumsy and stubborn: he wanted to burn a belated incense for his wife, help his great-grandson retrieve lost 'old traditions', and most of all, say the 'I'm back' he couldn't 70 years ago... When cross-century longing meets the bustle of the new era, this story of 'the great-grandpa's return' hides the most touching regrets and warmth.

Legendary Barber of the Auspicious Horse Year
Ma Xiaoji, owner of "Jiji Barber Shop" in the old alley, is a legendary barber known to neighbors as "only cutting for destined people" — he never provides home service, yet can solve customers' worries with a single snip. As the New Year approaches, a demolition notice hits the alley, and Ma suddenly breaks his rule to take a "special order": cutting the hair of his former master Zhou Fushun, who has been bedridden for ten years. It turns out that twenty years ago, in the Year of the Horse, Zhou gave up his chance to compete in Beijing to save the drowning Ma, leaving him with a leg disability; Ma's persistence in running the shop was to wait for his master to wake up and see the "shop they agreed on back then". The moment the scissors glide through the white hair, the comatose master suddenly holds his hand, and the neighbors gather around — they had secretly signed a petition to save the shop. Amidst the first firecracker of the Horse Year, the wooden sign of the barber shop is hung again, with the smiles of the master and apprentice reflected in the mirror, along with the warmth of the alley.
