After Dark, Don’t Bring Kids Here Plot:

Lin Xiaoman, a single mother new to the old town, is repeatedly warned by the downstairs aunt: "Don't bring kids to the small garden after dark." She dismisses it as superstition—until one late night, she has to carry her sleepy 5-year-old son Xiaoyu through the garden. Suddenly, Xiaoyu points at an empty swing and laughs: "The sister in the floral dress wants to play with me." Lin Xiaoman turns around, only to see a red ribbon fluttering in the wind. Since then, Xiaoyu sleepwalks to push the swing, faded marbles appear in his drawer, and he even describes the old pavilion in the garden that vanished a decade ago—the exact spot where the aunt's granddaughter went missing. When Xiaoyu holds the red ribbon and says, "Sister can't find her mom," Lin Xiaoman realizes: the "thing" in the dark never left.
