Bitter Melon Duo: Revenge of the Assassin & the Lady

Bitter Melon Duo: Revenge of the Assassin & the Lady Plot:

Ah Shuang, a cold female assassin, became a weapon after her family was massacred at ten—23 lives on her hands, yet she’s never known warmth. Lin Wantang, the Duke’s daughter, lost her family overnight, hiding in a dry well to survive and vowing to clear her parents’ name. Two “bitter melons” crushed by fate meet when chasing the same enemy: Prime Minister Wang Xian, who holds absolute power. Ah Shuang’s knife is fast but lacks intrigue; Wantang’s pen is sharp but lacks the courage to kill. From wary partners to each other’s armor, they weave a revenge net with blade and wit. Yet as the net tightens, a shock unfolds: Wang Xian is behind Ah Shuang’s family’s death, and the “treason letter” that doomed Wantang’s father was delivered by Ah Shuang herself… Should the knife stab the enemy, or their shared past?
