Her Fishhook Is Tangled with Rose Thorns
Her Fishhook Is Tangled with Rose Thorns Plot:
Lin Wan is the famous "thorn girl" of a Mindong fishing village—she always ties thorny roses to her boat and spends hours casting her line, no one knows what she's fishing for. Until Lu Yu, a marine biologist, arrives for a fishing ground development project. He not only stumbles upon her talking to an empty fish basket at midnight, murmuring "Didn't catch you again today," but also discovers the rose thorns come from a flower field planted by her lover Shen a decade ago. Shen went missing while saving her from drowning, so Lin Wan wrapped rose thorns around her fishhook, saying, "So he can recognize my line." When developers threaten to bulldoze the flower field, Lu Yu helps Lin Wan defend the fishing ground while trying to "reel in" her frozen heart. But when he opens Shen's old diary, he uncovers a secret hidden in the rose thorns: the person who disappeared that year might have never planned to come back.
