Meeting You in Kaili's Embroidery Glow
Meeting You in Kaili's Embroidery Glow Plot:
Ayi, a Miao embroideress in Kaili, is struggling to keep her grandma's "Color Thread Workshop" alive by selling embroidery at the market—until Lin Shen, a designer rushing to research intangible cultural heritage, steps on her heirloom embroidered handkerchief. They start off on the wrong foot: when Lin proposes collaborating to revamp Miao embroidery, Ayi dismisses him as a "city guy trying to cash in on heritage." But everything changes when she finds an old embroidery manual in his bag—using the exact stitches her grandma taught her. It turns out Lin's grandma was a Kaili embroideress who got separated years ago, and he's here to fulfill her last wish: to keep Miao embroidery from fading away. As traditional techniques clash with modern design, and the regrets of two generations hidden in the threads are uncovered, can Ayi and Lin save the workshop—and seize the "embroidery fate" that brought them together?
