The Slacker Sleuth Plot:

Chen Mo, a neighborhood cop at the Old Street Police Station, has been slacking off for years, spending most of his days making tea and reading newspapers. Colleagues nicknamed him "the slacker sleuth" — he once solved a minor case by accident but never took his work seriously. Until a primary school student from the neighboring building went missing suddenly, with a blood-stained vintage silver lock left at the crime scene. This seemingly ordinary missing person case turned out to be connected to a decade-old human trafficking cold case. Forced to team up with a stern veteran detective who holds a grudge against him, Chen Mo complained about the heavy workload while finding key clues by accident repeatedly. Gradually regaining his original aspiration of being a policeman, he finally uncovered the dark secrets hidden beneath the old street.
