Homeward Bound, But No One Waits Plot:

After five years of grinding in the big city, Lin Wan finally decides to return to her hometown to make amends for leaving without saying goodbye. She clearly remembers her father promising to wait for her at the village entrance under the old locust tree. Yet when she stands at the familiar spot with her suitcase, only overgrown weeds and an abandoned old house greet her.
