Destiny's Rose: Rebirth of a Fairy Cultivation Tale
Su Wanwan, a modern office drone, stayed up all night finishing the fairy cultivation drama *Path of Immortals*—only to wake up as Su Chuchu, the show's most tragic cannon fodder: her stepsister dug out her fairy bones, her fiancé broke off the engagement, and she was finally beaten to death with sticks. At the critical moment, she bonds with a "Counterattack & Slap-Face System," which assigns absurd tasks one after another: "Steal the male lead's fairy marrow nourishing porridge," "Knit an 'ugly-enough-to-cry' sweater for the icy-cold Immortal Lord," "Expose the stepsister's white-lotus mask in public"... To survive, Su Wanwan forces herself to comply, but accidentally crashes into the arms of Gu Xuanzhao—the Immortal Lord who's supposed to be "uninterested in women and devoid of emotions" in the drama. To her surprise, he blushes and shoves the porridge into her hands, muttering, "This Lord... just doesn't want it anyway." The ugly sweater she knits? He hides it deep in his storage bag, and when caught, he blushes fiercely: "The system made me do it." While juggling the system's "deathly KPIs" and uncovering the truth about the original owner's frame-up, Su Wanwan launches a "slacker-style counterattack" in the fairy cultivation world. Little does she know, Gu Xuanzhao has waited for her for three lifetimes by the Wangchuan River since a millennium ago—and she's been his fated "Destiny's Rose" all along...
