Transmigrated as Daqing's Ninth Prince: Defend the Frontier to Take the Throne
Modern office worker Lin Yue stayed up late watching *The Secret History of Daqing*, only to wake up as the Ninth Prince—who the Crown Prince calls a “bug.” Having just escaped an assassin’s blade and seeing his mother’s prayer beads shattered outside the palace, he bets everything to defend the northwest frontier: where starving people beg for food, nomadic cavalry raid villages monthly, and even military rations are embezzled by corrupt officials. Using modern mechanical knowledge, Lin builds repeating crossbows; with e-commerce logic, he lets frontier people grow cotton to exchange for weapons. In three years, he creates the “Sharp Wolf Army” armed with muskets and gunpowder. But when news comes that the emperor was poisoned and the Crown Prince rebelled, Lin leads his army back to the capital—only to find his uncle, the Grand Tutor (who once secretly gave him medicine), holding a sword and shouting “traitor”—the man who killed his mother! Between the blood of his frontier brothers and the betrayal of a mentor, Lin tightens his grip on the musket: he will take the throne, and he will avenge those who died on the frontier!
