Lin thinks she’s “living in a unrealistic dream”… until Su secretly joins a national doomsday survival contest. Using “unconventional” skills like catching rainwater with her hands and making filters from rags, she fights her way to the final. Lin then learns: Su’s “weirdness” stems from being trapped in an earthquake for three days a decade ago. Her real reason for competing? To find the “masked uncle” who saved her back then. But when Su tells the camera during the final, “My current sense of security comes from the guy who complains about my trouble but still helps me stock up,” Lin realizes—he’s long been the “light in her doomsday”.
